The UK extend the deadline to get the UKCA marking for medical devices
The Medicines and Healtcare Products Regolatory Agency approved to extend the deadline to 2024 June 30 in order to get the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking for medical devices, necessary goods during the Covid-19 era.
We already wrote a blog post about the huge problems and complications (and, these days, perplexity too) related to Brexit and all the custom issues alongside it. UK Institutions many times during the past weeks decided to extend the deadline for many items, like in CE marking issues.
Now, the Medicines and Healtcare Products Regolatory Agency decided that companies could get the UKCA marking until 2024 June 30, so CE marked medical devices can be imported/accepted in the United Kingdom until that day.
