EU-ASEAN sign the Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement (CATA)
The European Union and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) agreed to sign the Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement (CATA) which involves cargo and passenger flights.
The CATA will completely change the air transport system among the 27 european countries and the 10 south-east asian States. In fact, the CATA will replace more than 140 bilateral covenants. Thanks to this agreement, airlines will fly from any ASEAN airport to an EU one and back. The only limit will be for 14 weekly flights, but there will not be any limit for cargo flights.
